Good evening, students bachchon! ๐ค
I hope you are enjoying your vacation n all are doing well. ๐
Students, your new session is going to start, so I feel it's correct time to talk about some important things.
Basically I am going to talk about two things, must check the second part.
[1.] First, Something about your student life (in the context of your upcoming juniors), as you aren't just juniors.
[2.] Second, Something about your career, as you have successfully completed year one of this degree program.
[1.] So, filhaal toh aap sabhi institution mein juniors hain. But, jaldi hi college mein naye admission shuru honge n aapko bhi apne juniors milenge, aap bhi kuchh logon ke senior ho jaayenge.
Dear students, aapke juniors mein adhikansh students first time ghar se baahar niklenge, adhikansh apne ghar se door, ek anjaan shahar mein ajnabiyon ke bich aakar rahenge, toh unke saath kuchh galat n ho, woh log misguide n ho, iska dhyaan ham sabhi ko rakhna hai, afterall ab aap sabhi JEC Family ka hi hissa hain.
Jab aap sabhi yahaan aaye the, toh aap logon ko bhi starting mein kuchh issues rahe honge, that's normal.
So, apne juniors ke liye aap kya kar sakte hain?
1. Jo kuchh bhi positive aapke seniors ne aapke saath kiya hai, woh sab aapko apne juniors ke liye bhi karna hai.
2. Positive chijen rahi hain toh negative bhi ho sakti hain. But negative chijon ko aapko khatma karna hai, apne juniors mein transfer nahi karna hai.
3. Kuchh nayaa, jo aapko lagta hai aisaa bhi honaa chahiye, n woh juniors ke liye beneficial rahega toh wo bhi aapko shuru karna chahiye.
Sahi traditions hamein barkaraar rakhne hain, n galat wale khatm karne hain.
Ultimately, aapka attitude hona chahiye ki juniors ko aapko support karna hai, sahi guidance dena hai, misguide hone se bachaana hai. N I'm sure that you all are going to perform your responsibilities.. ๐
[2.] If I talk about your careers, so I guess you have already decided about your career, stream, future etc but as a teacher that's my duty and also moral responsibility that I guide my students somehow.
Students alongside your academics and degree it's right time that you should be sure about your future. You are at your earlier stage so you have many options, I've tried to talk about some of those bellow:
1. You can prepare for GATE if you want to join PSUs or you are going to plan for higher education like MTech and PhD or intrested to join a scientific n research center.
2. Alongside GATE you can prepare for other such exams like SSC Junior Engineer, Sub Engineer etc.
3. If you are interested in Civil Services you can start a basic preparation for PSC examinations.
4. Most of engineering students prefer Corporate and Private Sectors, so you should start working with practical experiences to enhance your skills.
5. Some of you can opt for some diffrent fields, like MBA, after your graduation. So you should start your preparation for CAT, MAT, CMAT, SAT, GMAT, NMAT or any other such examination *(basically any one of those, but your aim should be an IIM atleast).
6. Some students also opt for startups and businesses, so you can start a foundation for it with some of your classmates.
All these are basic fields that most of student generally choose among those as an engineering student.
Many more things as like SSC, Railways, Banking, Army, Navy and other government services, so considering your interest and accepting your capabilities you should be clear about your future.
Students, take sufficient time, analyse yourself, do some researches, but do not get too confused. You have options, so instead of getting confused choose the best one for you.
Do not waste n take a lot time, but take sufficient time to understand all those things, actually to understand yourself. So follow a proper strategy, and start working on it.
Alongside this, start working on atleast one non academic skill. It could be an art, music, sports, literature or something else.
But in sabke saath aapkee degree and academic course aapki first most priority honi chahiye. Apne degree program, academic syllabus and Exams ko kabhi casually nahi lena hai.
Analyse the mistakes that you made in year 1 and start with a fresh mind. If somehow you made mistakes, instead of feeling guilty try to realise all those and start working on your weaknesses, you are definitely gonna do much better.
I'm sure that you all are brave, wise n honest, n gonna do considerably great things for yourself, for your family, this institution, this country and gonna contribute to make this world a better place.
God bless you all! ❤️
With best wishes, love n blessings,
Professor Abhishek Vaniya
